The Crossroads

14 years since he started playing the blues, Paul came to a realization and decided to use his own name, Paul Marney, and explore his identity as an artist, unbounded by the blues.

Shortly after this announcement, his mentor, his own Mr. Miyagi, Mr. Thomas “Tomcat” Colvin, passed away.

This was one of the most symbolic moments in Paul’s life, and realized something deeper - the blues was never a cage. It was the door, and Tom Colvin was the one who opened many doors for Paul to grow.
