A BETTER MAN

The track that started it all. A kid who had nothing but a few blues licks and a great deal of agony and torment decided to fight his bullies back with a song called “A Better Man”. That’s when he knew about his dream

To tell my story through the rawness of my songs and guitar playing

To be the voice of those who can’t speak for themselves

To tell the world that no disability can ever hinder one from having a dream

With a vision of vulnerability, I hope to be in a world with songs that sound like they’re from a beating heart - with raw emotions channelled to every note being screamed by our instruments, and the vibration that shakes the room when nothing is heard but silence - a world that shares stories of love and loss, of victory and defeat, of life and living.”

A Better Man was originally recorded in 2013 with my “Mr. Miyagi”, Mr. Thomas “Tomcat” Colvin and this live performance was done in 2024 with my blues brother, Ian Lofamia, on harmonica, in honor of our mentor.
